As I have been introduced to the DLL program, I have been able to do a lot of meaningful self-reflection. Throughout this process, I have taken a hard look at my mindset when faced with challenges. The pandemic has brought a lot of challenges for educators this year. When you throw in starting the DLL program on top, it can leave one feeling defeated and overwhelmed at times. The work we have done on growing with a Growth Mindset has been so refreshing and inspiring when I needed it most. Understanding that there is power in the process has been key to making it through with most of my sanity intact! I will admit that I am super competitive and a bit of a perfectionist.
